The St. Catherine Women's Group is a self-sustaining group encouraging fellowship and support among the women of the parish by growing in faith, participating in various social activities, and performing acts of service, as determined by the group.

The members of the Women’s Group may  participate in the annual Retreat, holiday gathering, plays, book club and other various  events. The Women’s Group also supports and organizes the  following events each year:

• The Bake Sale which is  our  major  fundraiser  and provides monies for our charitable donations.
• The  diaper  drive  and  sock drive  collections which we distribute to various agencies in the community.
• The  Christmas Giving Tree provides gifts to Catholic Charities, Our Place and Meals on Wheels.
• The “ Slice  of the Pie “ which is a major fund raiser for the needs of the Parish.
• The Parish Picnic is a popular event with plenty of food, games, and fellowship.

We are a busy group. Members contribute their  time and  talents as their schedule allows.
 
We meet on the second Wednesday of each  month  from September through May in the hall of St. Catherine Siena.  We start the evening at 6:00 PM with a Social & Snacks and the meeting begins at 6:30 PM.

June 9, 2024: A huge THANK YOU to the ladies of the Women's Group and the Knight of Columbus for another wonderful parish picnic. Although it rained, the picnic was held inside the school gymnasium and a good time was held by all!

Feb 3, 2024: On Saturday, February 3rd,  after the 8am mass & rosary, the Women’s Group hosted a tour of the stained glass windows in our church.  Matthew Carnevale guided us through the various images. After the tour, folks  joined us in the hall for some light refreshments. Thank you to all who participated!

Dec 11, 2023:Thanks to all who participated in this year's Giving Tree! St. Joseph Community Services and Our Place were equally appreciative of the generosity of our parish! We collected 124 toys for Our Place  and 50 bags for St. Joseph Community Services.

Nov 5, 2023: We would like to extend our deep appreciation for your generosity during the Sock Drive. You helped us achieve a total of 673 items and $436 in cash donations. Once again you have made it possible for us to fill the needs of Liberty House and Blessed Sacrament. In addition, the Women's Group donated $100 to each organization. Thank you!!


October 14/15, 2023: A sincere THANK YOU to everyone who donated goods to our bake & craft sale. A special thank you to the ladies who  prepared and worked the tables. We raised $887 which will be used to donate to various charities throughout the year!

Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy! As Fr. Chris says it certainly was a time of "friendship and fellowship." THANK YOU everyone!!



Apr 30, 2023: A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year's Kid's Summer Clothes and Sneakers Drive a success! The Women's Group strives to serve the less fortunate of our community as you continue to be so generous. We were able to collect shorts/tops/sneakers to help fill the racks at Blessed Sacrament's St. Anne's Kids Closet with mostly new summer clothing as well as provide a cash offering of $510 as well that can be used for specific needs of the closet. Your continued generosity is amazing. May God bless you abundantly!

Apr 21, 2019: The Saint Catherine's Women's Group would like to extend their deep appreciation for your generosity. With the help of in-kind and cash donations, we were able to provide diapers and wipes to seven agencies: Blessed Sacrament, New Horizons, Birthright, Pennacook Pregnancy Center, YWCA shelter, Our Place and Sister Irene’s work with refugees. Thank You!
